Finalizing More Pages and Jake Dice!

Adventure Time fans,
We are making lots of progress on game development! We have a solid number of pages that have been approved by the licensor, over 100 pages that are with the licensor for approval, and lots of pages that are being edited, in layouts, or being proofread post-layouts. It’s been slow-going but it’s because there is just SO much stuff in these books and the licensor (like us) wants to make sure everything is as true to the world of the show as possible.
We will continue updating as we get closer to the finish line!
While we’re here, we have some more dice photos to share. This time it’s the Kickstarter Exclusive Jake Dice! These are actual photos that we took in the office (we lightly cleaned up the photos to present optimally what they look like in real life). Please note these are just initial samples; the final versions will look even cooler!

Another week and we have some more dice samples! Today, it’s all about Cake… the Cake Dice Set that is! Again, these are actual photos that we took in the office (we lightly cleaned up the photo to present optimally what they look like in real life). Adventure Time fans,
We hope you are having a great end of summer and are staying cool (we have had some ba-nay-nay hot weather here in California).
First, a development update! The Sweet Dosh card text is finalized and our graphic design team is putting those together this week. The books are all in various phases of layout and final copyediting. We are taking our sweet time, but it’s all in the hopes of making this project the best it can be. We will not let our amazing backers down!
The incredible news is we have started getting samples of the dice from the factory! And they are looking pretty great. Let’s start this time with the BMO Dice Set! Development Update, Come Visit Us at Gen Con, and Preorder Playpaks!

Adventure Time fans,
Thank you to everyone who has completed their surveys (most of you)! For those who haven’t: Please do so ASAP, because we are finalizing quantities. See our previous update at THIS LINK for instructions on how to get your survey, particularly if you use Facebook or an Apple ID to login to Kickstarter.
In terms of game development, all the dice are currently at the factory, which is making samples as we speak. We know how excited many of you are about the dice, so we are going to try to get them as perfect as possible. We will share photos once have some good-looking samples.
In terms of the actual books, the writing for Jake's Shmowzow Guide to Roleplaying Games is done and is in the layout process. The Core Book and Adventure Book are mostly finished in terms of writing and are both in the middle of content editing and copyediting. The art for the Core Book is mostly done. The Adventure Book has a few more significant pieces that need to be illustrated.
We are running a bit behind our projected timelines, but we think we’ll be able to make up some of that time during the manufacturing process. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way!

July 1 Pledge Manager Deadline (for Non-Late Pledges)

Reminder: The pledge manager deadline for backers who pledged during the campaign is JULY 1 at 10 am! We will be locking orders and charging cards for those backers on Monday.
Please note: If you pledged during the campaign and want to change your pledge tier after the deadline of July 1, you will only be able to choose the late pledge versions of the tiers, which are slightly more expensive.
If you used an Apple ID on your Kickstarter account: You should have received a private message with a link to your survey on 6/14. You can reach out to BackerKit via email to update your email address: [email protected] OR go to this page: https://adventure-time-rpg.backerkit.com/(If all else fails, send us a private message on Kickstarter and we’ll help you out.)
If you did a Late Pledge on the Kickstarter platform (even $1) between 5/15 and 6/5: Your survey will go out on July 1. The deadline will be JULY 15, at which point we’re locking all late pledge orders and charging cards.
Important shipping notes:
1) If you ordered more than 70 lbs of items (more than 4 All-in Apple Slaps Tiers OR 2 or more Retailer Tiers), your shipping will show $1000. This won’t be the actual amount you pay! For backers who order more than 70 lbs, we provide custom shipping quotes, so please reach out to us via a private message on Kickstarter.
2) If your shipping cost is very different from our estimated shipping or jumps in a way that makes little sense after you add different items, please reach out to us directly via Kickstarter private messages. If you haven't filled out your shipping country, BackerKit may initially show ROW (rest of world) shipping rates; fill in your address to see your accurate shipping cost.
