More Pages, Making Progress

Adventure Time fans,
Happy 2025! We are checking in to let you know game development is moving ahead slowly but smoothly. The good news is we had over 100 more pages approved by the licensor in the last few weeks. The less positive news is that due to the sheer amount of pages and the unwavering care the team from Cartoon Network puts into the Adventure Time world, approvals are taking months. In the end, it’s a good thing: Having so many people who want to make the books as perfect and true to the show as they can be will only make for a better end product. It’s just taking longer than expected.
To help speed things on our end, we have hired an additional copyeditor to hep get everything off to the graphic design team and to proofread everything after it is designed. And all the art for the interior pages of the book has been completed.
We appreciate everyone being patient and we’ll continue to be as transparent as possible. Once we go to print on everything, we will have a better sense of the fulfillment date. In the meantime, we are excited to share some pages from Chapter 4: Kingdoms of Ooo (from the Goblin Kingdom section) and Chapter 12: Inhabitants of Ooo.
Adventure Time Card Wars 2025… Coming to Kickstarter January 28!
We know you love Adventure Time, so we’d like to share that we have a very relevant Kickstarter launching in a matter of days: Adventure Time Card Wars 2025! Following the successful 10th anniversary Kickstarter for the popular card game, the new campaign showcases three new standalone Collector’s Packs featuring Heroes fans voted for. The gameplay includes fresh twists, new tokens and card abilities, and all-new game cards with original art. In addition, backers will be able to accessorize their experience in all sorts of ways. Newcomers to the game will be able to get all the previous game content they missed out on from the prior Kickstarter.

Dev Update, Lich Dice, & DC Heroes: The Role-Playing Game on Kickstarter

Adventure Time fans,
Happy almost Thanksgiving! We are slowly but surely progressing on game development. More pages are with the licensor and we are aiming to have all the writing edited and into design by the end of the year. We are behind schedule, but we are really happy with how everything is shaping up. To help tide you over, we are happy to share a few recently finished pages:
Also, check out these images of the Lich Dice samples. We think they look great, but we asked the factory to make some adjustments on the final version to get them closer to what we wanted. Specifically, on the D8 Dice: We asked them to make the body darker with swirled green color to match with our 3D renders. On the D20 Dice: We asked them to make the swirl effect stronger (dice body is yellow with swirled green color) to match our 3D renders.

Finalizing More Pages and Jake Dice!

Adventure Time fans,
We are making lots of progress on game development! We have a solid number of pages that have been approved by the licensor, over 100 pages that are with the licensor for approval, and lots of pages that are being edited, in layouts, or being proofread post-layouts. It’s been slow-going but it’s because there is just SO much stuff in these books and the licensor (like us) wants to make sure everything is as true to the world of the show as possible.
We will continue updating as we get closer to the finish line!
While we’re here, we have some more dice photos to share. This time it’s the Kickstarter Exclusive Jake Dice! These are actual photos that we took in the office (we lightly cleaned up the photos to present optimally what they look like in real life). Please note these are just initial samples; the final versions will look even cooler!

Adventure Time fans,
We hope you are having a great end of summer and are staying cool (we have had some ba-nay-nay hot weather here in California).
First, a development update! The Sweet Dosh card text is finalized and our graphic design team is putting those together this week. The books are all in various phases of layout and final copyediting. We are taking our sweet time, but it’s all in the hopes of making this project the best it can be. We will not let our amazing backers down!
